Terms of service

The agreement between you and CueState for using the site and anything you buy from it.

Last updated 9 October 2026

1. The short version

These terms cover your use of cuestate.com and anything you buy from CueState, operated by CueState (the operator of cuestate.com). By using the site you agree to them. They are deliberately plain.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your sign-in details private and for what happens under your account. Tell us straight away if you think someone else has used it.

3. What you are buying

Programs, guides, decks and other digital products are paid for once; nothing renews. Each one is described on its own page, with its price and what it includes. A product is delivered digitally: it appears in your library on this site as soon as the payment is confirmed, and you use it from there. A price change never applies to something you have already bought.

Digital products are licensed to you personally for your own professional use. You may print them and use them in the classes you teach. You may not resell them, share them with other instructors, or use them to build a competing product or training. Studios and training organizations that want to use CueState material with their teams should arrange a license.

4. Who sells it

Depending on your country, a purchase is sold either by our reseller, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates), which is the Merchant of Record for that sale, or directly by CueState (the operator of cuestate.com), with payment processed by Braintree, a PayPal service. Your receipt shows which applies. Where Paddle is the seller, Paddle handles billing, payment, invoicing and the calculation and remittance of applicable taxes, and Paddle's buyer terms at https://www.paddle.com/legal/checkout-buyer-terms also apply.

5. Prices and taxes

Prices are shown in US dollars unless the checkout shows otherwise for your country. Founding prices apply only to the founding cohort and are not retrospective. Where Paddle is the seller, Paddle determines and collects any VAT, GST or sales tax based on your location. Where CueState (the operator of cuestate.com) is the seller, the price shown at checkout is the amount you are charged.

6. Refunds

Refunds are governed by our Refund Policy at /refund-policy, which forms part of these terms. A refund is issued by whichever company sold you the product.

7. What the material is, and is not

CueState teaches communication, attention and leadership in a movement class. It is not medical, physiotherapy or anatomical advice, and it does not replace the technical and safety training of your certification. You remain responsible for the safety of the people you teach. Material is provided as it is and may be revised as the method develops.

8. Our material

The CueState name, the Read, Reach, Lead model, the signature principles and tools, and the written and recorded material are ours. Quoting a line with attribution is welcome. Reproducing the material or the method as your own is not.

9. Liability

We provide the site and the material with care, but we cannot promise they will be uninterrupted or error-free. To the extent the law allows, our liability to you is limited to what you paid us in the twelve months before the issue arose. Nothing in these terms limits a right you have that cannot be waived.
