Refund policy

Fourteen days, in full, for any program or digital product. No argument.

1. Overview

This policy explains how refunds work for the programs and digital products sold on cuestate.com. It forms part of our Terms of Service at /terms-of-service.

Depending on your country, a purchase is sold either by our reseller, Paddle (Paddle.com Market Limited and its affiliates), which is the Merchant of Record for that sale, or directly by CueState (the operator of cuestate.com), with payment processed by Braintree, a PayPal service. Your receipt shows which applies. Where Paddle is the seller of record, Paddle's own refund policy also applies, and where it gives you more than this policy does, Paddle's terms prevail.

2. 14 days to change your mind

Every program and digital product is paid for once; nothing renews. If it is not what you expected, email support@cuestate.com within 14 days of the payment and you will be refunded in full. You do not need to give a reason, though we will ask, because it helps us make the material better. There is no self-serve refund button.

A refunded product leaves your library. Anything that is free on cuestate.com stays as it was.

3. Immediate access and your right to withdraw

A program or digital product is digital content supplied as soon as your payment is confirmed: it is available in your library straight away, and you are asking us to supply it immediately when you buy it.

In countries where the law allows you to give up a right to withdraw by expressly consenting to immediate supply of digital content, you give that consent when you buy, and you acknowledge that you lose that right once it has been supplied. Where a right to withdraw or cancel cannot be waived, or applies unconditionally, it is not affected by this section and continues to apply in full. Our own fourteen-day promise above applies regardless.

4. Statutory rights

Consumer law in some countries gives you a minimum right to withdraw from or cancel a purchase, and that right varies by country. Nothing in this policy limits any right you have that cannot be waived. Where Paddle is the seller of record for your purchase, Paddle applies the statutory minimum for your country regardless of anything stated here; the country-specific position is set out in Paddle's refund policy at https://www.paddle.com/legal/refund-policy.

5. After 14 days

Digital products are delivered immediately and in full, so after 14 days a refund is at our discretion, except where the law requires one. If something has gone wrong, tell us anyway. We would rather fix it than argue about it.

6. Studio workshops and licenses

Workshops can be rescheduled with ten days' notice at no cost. Cancellations with less notice may be charged for time already committed. License terms are set out in the license agreement.

7. How refunds arrive

Refunds go back to the payment method you used, issued by whichever company sold you the product, and usually appear within five to ten business days.

8. Contact

Refund requests and questions go to support@cuestate.com. Where Paddle is the seller of record, you can also contact Paddle directly through the link on your receipt.

CueState is operated by CueState (the operator of cuestate.com). Questions: support@cuestate.com. Privacy requests: privacy@cuestate.com.
